Privacy

Annalist sets no cookies and stores no IP address. A visit is counted through a code derived from the IP address and the browser, with a key that changes every day and is deleted after 2 days, so a visitor cannot be followed from one day to the next.

The statistics record the page requested, the time a page remains open, how far down the page is scrolled, the type of browser or automated agent, the country and the referring site. They also record whether the visitor scrolled, clicked or typed, and the names of the buttons and fields used on the page; the text typed into a field is never recorded. The statistics measure the use of the data and are not shared with third parties.

The pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the IP address of the browser that requests them under the privacy policy of Google.

Not Counting This Browser

A visitor may ask the site not to count this browser. The choice is kept in the local storage of this browser, as the choice of a light or dark theme is, until it is reversed here; nothing else is stored.

This browser is counted.
